Poker Pro Phil Laak will attempt to break World Record
Poker Pro Phil “Unabomber” Laak will attempt to break the endurance poker world record on June 2 in the Bellagio Poker Room in Las Vegas. The online poker player wants a place in the Guinness Book of World Records by breaking the poker endurance record by Paul Zimbler. The record attempt by the poker pros will take place in the Bellagio poker room on June 2 starting at 12 PM. The goal of Laak is to play for 80 hours consecutively
poker, if he would succeed his record will top Zimbler’s record with 5 hours. Larry Olmsted was the first poker player to set the poker endurance record in 2004, by playing poker 72 hours straight at Foxwoods. In 2008 Dave Cain broke the record by playing 74 hours in a row. Paul Zimbler went on to break this record by one hour in September 2009, where he played heads-up against approximately 200 different players. The professional
