Dwyte Pilgrim has immortalize his status as one of the best players in the WSOP Circuit set by winning his third WSOP ring this weekend. Pilgrim survived 168 players in a 340 dollar buy-in No-Limit Hold’em event at Harrah’s Rincon in San Diego and won his third title WSOPC with a cash prize $13,392. The WSOP ring will put him in equal second place with the poker legend Chris Ferguson, one behind Men “the Master” Nguyen, who has four rings. Pilgrim said after winning: “I feel great. Today is a big day in my life. I will consistently keep playing until someone recognizes me. ” The online poker pro from Brooklyn was on a tear during the WSOPC events in the past 15 months with three wins, 10 final table appearances and 18 cashes. The recent victory earned Pilgrim more than $640,000 in total tournament winnings since his debute on the online poker scene in 2008. Until now, Pilgrim has not been able to successfully replicate WSOPC events on the biggest stage of all poker, the World Series of Poker. It is something he intends to rectify this summer. “I think I am one of the players to look forward to the World Series of Poker,” said Pilgrim. Pilgrim gets a chance at the WSOP main event, where last year he won almost $125,775.
